Jack Gardner, a former Boulder police detective, was found guilty of all charges Friday after standing trial for sending a warning email to a suspect in a Internet child-luring case. After four days of testimony, a person jury deliberated for more than three hours Friday evening and ultimately convicted Gardner of being an accessory to a crime, as well as obstructing a peace officer and misdemeanor first-degree official misconduct. Gardner remained stoic after the verdict was read. Earlier in the day, he took the stand in Boulder District Court to defend himself, saying he had absolutely no memory of what happened during the time prosecutors claim he tipped off the suspect in a sting operation.
